OPEN TESTING PROGRAMS

Proficiency testing programs help calibration laboratories, testing laboratories, and inspection bodies to improve service quality by testing key areas of their technical competence, such as human resources, equipment, and work methods. The results are published in a formal report that clearly provides the Z-score.

BILATERAL TESTING PROGRAMS

In customized Bilateral proficiency testing programs, the results of the participants (calibration laboratories, test laboratories and inspection bodies) will be compared against the results of the reference laboratory. The results are published in a formal report that clearly provides the Normalized Error.

COMPARATIVE TESTING PROGRAM FOR CONSUMER PRODUCTS AND RELATED SERVICES (CTPS)

CTPS are applicable to consumer products, services, and a combination of both. They can be used by organizations and associations that carry out benchmarking programs. The goal of CTPS is to enable the presentation of meaningful test results and information in a way that helps consumers and others make an informed decision appropriate to their own needs. Products and services under test can be based on a local, national or international market and the characteristics tested can be very specific or broad-based, as long as the scope and limits are clearly established. The results are published in a formal report that clearly provides the Z-score.

EXTERNAL RESULTS QUALITY ASSURANCE PROGRAM (EQP)

In this program (EQP) for external assurance of the quality of the results, the laboratories participating in this exercise comply with sections 7.7.1, 7.7.2 (b) and 7.7.3 of ISO / IEC 17025: 2017 This program also complies with sections 5.9.1 (c) and 5.5.2 of the 2005 version of the same standard. This program is intended to ensure the quality of laboratory results, taking steps to continue or even improve performance. The purpose of the program is to evaluate the performance of the participating laboratory with respect to a reference laboratory. If the results do not meet the previously defined criteria, the laboratory should take planned actions to correct the deviation and avoid reporting incorrect results. The results are published in a formal report that clearly provides the Normalized Error.
